  • Having grown up with a family in the food industry, I developed a deep appreciation and understanding of how important it is to consume high-quality, locally-sourced food. I learned early in life just how connected the foods we eat are to our health and wellbeing.

  • As life got busier in my adulthood, I lost touch of my connection with food, and my new lifestyle took an enormous toll on my health. I would eventually be diagnosed with Grave’s disease, which affects the thyroid, as well as PCOS at the age of 19.

  • Each of my ailments were hormonal conditions, and caused the state of my mental and physical health to plummet. In my despair, I began educating myself on my own personal conditions, as well as other conditions related to an imbalance of female hormones

  • In my research, I learned that standard nutritional advice does not always hold the key to optimal health. Studies show that illness and disease are caused not only by diet, but by other contributing factors such as stress, strained relationships, financial troubles, and a lack of overall self-care.

I strive to help others take control of their health, feel empowered by their food and lifestyle choices and become the best version of themselves.

  • My commitment to finding answers allowed me to find the information I needed to put my Grave’s disease into remission, and to get my PCOS under control. My own journey toward optimal health, paired with my Master’s in Nutritional Science, sent me on a mission to help others who are also struggling with their health. 

  • My own experiences have given me a new sense of empathy and understanding for others, driving my passion for leading others on their own healing journey.

  • My life’s work is empowering others through compassionate and evidence-based practices, and helping them make better food and lifestyle choices.
